Dede Duson is a Texan with music degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston. She taught piano and theory for many years, served as a church organist, and accompanied various groups including the Houston Symphony Chorus, Texas All-state Choir, and Mesquite Civic Chorus. Her compositions and arrangements are both secular and sacred, a cappella and accompanied, with treble and bass voicings as well as SATB.
